I enjoy having projects to work on when I'm out photographing. Trying new techniques or working on mastering old ones keeps me focused and moving forward. Lately I have been working on motion and having lots of fun experimenting with different shutter speeds. With my camera mounted on a tripod and a timer I have even managed to be in a couple of the captures. To really slow down the shutter I use ND filters to help reduce the amount of light entering the camera. We have had some nice waves over the last couple of weeks here on Whidbey Island to experiment with. I'm looking forward to continuing to play around with motion over the summer.
